The Only Way To Demonstrate Soft Skills in An Inteview (Video Lecture)
And Bonus Github Copilot Demonstration
Hello Folks!
I’m experimenting with a new format today where I do short video lectures to explain how to improve your career.
Today, I’m going to be discussing with you how you can convincingly demonstrate soft skills in a technical interview setting. Managers know that soft skills are one of the strongest components of great hires. Often the people that excel have great soft skills, like communication, team work and leadership, to pair with their hard skills.
But they won’t ask you directly for these in an interview. Nor will they tell you they’re asking you about your soft skills.
Instead, they ask a type of question that will prompt you to show your soft skills. If you can respond correctly, you’ll significantly improve your chances of getting the role.
Watch the video below to see how you can nail the interview:
In addition, here is a video I did about how I’m using Github Co-Pilot to improve my ability to learn Rust development.
It’s an amazing tool and I think it’s going to change how developers interact with languages and learn best practices faster for their language of choice.
